What is the closest airport to Seaside, FL?

Panama City Beach (ECP) airport is 35 miles and an estimated 50-minute drive time from Seaside. Alternatively, the Destin (VPS) airport is 37 miles and has an estimated drive time of 60-minutes to Seaside.

What is the recommended method of transportation to and from either the Panama City Beach (ECP) or Destin (VSP) airports?

Guest will be responsible for coordinating their own transportation when arriving and leaving from Seaside, FL. It is important to note that a rental car for the entirety of your stay is not necessary if staying in Seaside or Watercolor as all wedding weekend activities are walkable/bikeable. The below services are recommendations for guest consideration when planning your travel needs.

We are so excited for all of you to join us as we celebrate our wedding in Seaside, Florida! Seaside is a quaint oasis primarily offering Airbnb and VRBO rentals instead of robust hotel accommodations. We strongly recommend guests book airbnb’s or vrbo’s for the long weekend at Seaside or Watercolor (official dates 10/24 to 10/27). Watercolor is walking distance to the ceremony and reception venues, and provides access to several amenities (multiple pools, lazy river, Watercolor Beach Club, beach access, etc.) and typically all houses provide bikes and/or street legal golf carts to get around.

What is the weather typically like in Seaside in October?

The weather in Seaside in October is pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze, with average highs of 80°F and lows of 66°F.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will take place indoors at Seaside Chapel. The reception will immediately follow at Bud & Alley’s, which will be outdoors.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue(s)?

The ceremony and reception venues are within 5 minutes walking distance from each other. No transportation or shuttle services will be provided to guests before the wedding or after the reception.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our wedding ceremony and reception adults only. Kids are welcome at all other wedding weekend activities. We thank you for your understanding.
